When is Mother's Day in Australia?

The second Sunday in May, which is a different date from the United Kingdom and the United States, so ignore whatever the internet tells you in March. It is the single busiest day in floristry, ours included, by a long way.

Order early, and we mean it

Demand for the week around Mother's Day runs at well over double a normal month, and every florist in the country is buying from the same growers. The arrangements we can make in the first week of May are not the arrangements anyone can make on the Saturday. Ordering two weeks out costs you nothing and changes what is possible.

What to send if she is not a roses person

A potted orchid or a peace lily, if she would rather have something that lasts. A bright boxed arrangement if she likes colour more than formality. A hamper if she would honestly rather be fed. We are very happy to be told "she likes yellow, spend this much, surprise her".
