How many roses should you send?

Six reads as a first gesture, warm without being a declaration. A dozen is the classic and the one most people mean when they say roses. Two dozen and above stops being a gift and starts being an occasion, which is exactly the point of it. Our Statement runs to a hundred stems for the moments that should be remembered for years.

Does the colour matter?

Red is the one everybody reads the same way. White is for elegance, sympathy and weddings rather than romance. Blush and cream are softer and suit a thank you, a birthday or a new baby better than red ever will. If you are unsure, tell us the occasion rather than the colour and we will choose for it.

Making them last

Cut a centimetre off each stem on an angle, use the flower food, keep them out of direct sun and away from the fruit bowl, and change the water every couple of days. Roses drink more than people expect in the first 48 hours.

Every rose here is arranged by hand on Orchid Avenue the morning it goes out, with same-day delivery across the Gold Coast on orders placed before 2pm.
