Ordering from overseas

The things people ring up and ask.

Rather just talk to someone? We are a shop on a street, and the same people answer the phone, the email and the messages. Please remember we are on Gold Coast time. Send us a message.

Can I pay with an overseas card?

Yes. Prices are in Australian dollars with GST included, and that is what you are charged. We take Visa, Mastercard, American Express and JCB, or PayPal if you would rather.

We add nothing for an overseas card. Your own bank may add its usual conversion fee.

What do you need from me?

The street address with the unit number if there is one, the suburb, and the postcode. Australian addresses end with the state and four digits, like Surfers Paradise QLD 4217.

And the recipient's mobile number. That one matters most. It is how our driver reaches them when a gate is locked or reception has gone quiet.

What if nobody is home?

Our driver rings the number on the order. If there is no answer we leave the flowers somewhere shaded and sheltered and message to say where. Buildings with a front desk go to the desk.

Would you rather they were not left at all? Say so in the delivery notes and we will bring them back and try again.

Can I write the card in my own language?

Please do. Write it at checkout in whatever language you like and we copy it onto the card exactly as you typed it, accents and all. We have written cards in Portuguese and we are glad to write yours in anything.

Do put your name on it. We cannot tell them who sent flowers if you have not told us.

What does delivery cost?

$12 to Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Southport and Ashmore. $15 to Nerang, Robina, Burleigh and the northern beaches. $20 to Helensvale, Hope Island and the hinterland. $25 to Coomera and Pimpama.

They are staying at a hotel. Does that still work?

It works beautifully, and it is a good part of what we do. We are on Orchid Avenue, minutes from the towers, and flowers go to the front desk rather than the room door.

How will I know it arrived?

You get an email when the order is on its way. If you would like to know more than that, ask us. We will happily tell you it went to the front desk at four, or that she was home and pleased, which is the part you cannot see from where you are.
