Everything for a new arrival

Boxed and vased, for a ward

A new parent has neither a vase nor a spare hand. These arrive finished and sit straight down.

Wrapped, for home

Once they are home the rules relax and a wrapped bouquet is back on.

For the baby

Still there long after the flowers have gone.

Little things to send with it

Added at checkout, they travel in the same delivery and land at the same moment.

Can you deliver to the maternity ward?

Usually, yes, and we do it often. Choose something boxed or vased rather than a wrapped bouquet, because a new parent has neither a vase nor a spare hand. Put the ward and room number in the delivery notes if you have them, and the mother's full name as the hospital has it.

Check before you send

Some maternity units and most special care nurseries restrict fresh flowers, and the policy varies by hospital. A quick call to the ward saves a wasted trip. Where flowers are not allowed, a teddy, a balloon or a hamper still arrives and still marks the day.

What to send instead of pink or blue

Soft whites, creams and greens suit every baby and look considerably better in photographs, which is where these flowers mostly end up. We are glad to work to a palette if you tell us one.

Delivered same day to Gold Coast hospitals and homes on orders placed before 2pm.

The part you don’t see.

It is made the morning it goes out.Not assembled in advance and held. Tied by hand, that day, for that order.
The stems are chosen from what came in that week.Which is why no two are ever quite the same, and why the good ones go early.
Your card is written out by hand.Your words and your punctuation, exactly as you typed them. The flowers last a week. The card tends to end up in a drawer, and stay there.
We do not send anything we would not be happy to receive. If it is not right on the bench, it does not go on the van. You hear from us before it does.
