A living plant, never a cut stem. Broad, deep green leaves, and waxy scarlet blooms held high on slender stems, each one opening slowly and holding its colour for weeks before the next comes up behind it. The anthurium is the rare plant that flowers indoors and then simply keeps flowering.

It asks for a bright corner out of direct sun, and a little water when the top of the soil dries. That is the whole of it.

How it is finished

Wrapped and finished by hand. The paper and the vessel change with what has come in that week, so no two are dressed quite the same, and whatever it arrives in stays with them.
