When is Father's Day in Australia?
The first Sunday in September, which in 2026 is Sunday 6 September. It falls in June in the United Kingdom and the United States, so ignore whatever the internet tells you halfway through the year.
Getting it there for the day
We deliver Monday to Saturday, so the day to book is Saturday 5 September. Order before 2pm for same-day delivery across the Gold Coast, and order earlier in the week if you want a particular arrangement rather than whatever is left on the Saturday morning. What to send a father who says he doesn't want anything
He usually means he does not want fuss. Australian natives are the easy yes here: banksia, protea and kangaroo paw are sculptural rather than pretty, they last well in a warm room, and they dry beautifully instead of collapsing. A hamper works on the same principle, and so does a plant, which is still there in November.
Flowers for a man
Send them. The idea that men do not get flowers is a habit rather than a rule, and the ones we deliver to fathers, grandfathers and husbands land every bit as well as the rest. If a bouquet feels like a stretch, sunflowers are cheerful and unfussy, and something tropical and architectural reads as a statement rather than a posy.
