Three ways to go

Does it have to be red roses?

  • Six reads as a first gesture. A dozen is the classic and the one most people mean. Two dozen and above stops being a gift and starts being an occasion, which is rather the point.

  • Red roses are unambiguous, which is exactly right for a new relationship and sometimes a little obvious for a long one. Twenty years in, something built to what she actually likes will land better than the expected dozen.

    Romance

  • Chocolate, a candle, a balloon, a hand-written card. Add them at checkout and they travel with the flowers rather than turning up separately.

    Gifts and add-ons

The shops with good roses committed weeks ago.

Roses are bought at auction well ahead of 14 February, the whole industry is buying the same stems at once, and the florists with beautiful roses on the day are the ones who committed early. Ordering in the first week of February gets you the best of what we have.

It is also the busiest delivery day of the year and the runs fill in order. Book a time window with Priority Delivery if it has to arrive before an evening out, and give us the workplace address if that is where you want it seen.
